Colorado

First night at Pagosa Springs campground. What a delightful evening!
Driving through Nebraska on a rainy and foggy day. I really like the round hay. Reminds me of shredded wheat. Colorado Springs and a stormy sky.

Beautiful clouds over the Colorado landscape.

More Colorado beauty.

And still more.

Such peaceful and beautiful surroundings everywhere you look.

Climbing and climbing.

Highest elevation we reached was at Wolf Creek. It was 10,850 feet, a bit rainy and 52 degrees. There was snow in various places on the mountains around and about.

Quite large patch of snow.

More gorgeous scenery.

And more.....

Outside of Denver on our way toward Colorado Springs.

Pagosa Springs. Overlooking the San Juan River.

Sunset at our beautiful campsite at Blanco River Resort.

As the sun continues to set.

And almost dark. The gorgeous pink sky is reflecting on the Blanco River.

That covers our trip. One more day, two more nights and we'll be home.
What a journey. And how very honored and grateful we are to have been able to navigate and experience such beauty and wonder! Thank you all for coming along with us. It's been a joy to share with you. Hope you felt the joy and gratitude we sent with each blog.
Love to you all,
Beth and Malcolm

Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore

Please join us on a tour of Pictured Rocks National Lakeshore in Munising, Michigan in the Upper Penninsula (or UP). This is what you will be touring - from a distance. Sorry in advance for all the empty space between the pics. I'm not sure what to do about this. Does anyone know? If so, please tell me so I can fix it. Enjoy the tour.....
2 bald eagles were seen. Also 2 other birds, one a vulture and one a falcon. (Pics not included.)

Spray Falls.

Oops - again.

Lone tree going on this rock outcrop with NO dirt.

This green is caused by sulfur and the yellow by limestone deposits in the water.

This is actually a fault line - you can see that the left half has horizontal line and the right half has vertical lines.

We saw a number of kayakers on the lake.
